An Exclusive International Alliance of Investment Banks
Global Alliance Partners (GAP) is an exclusive cross-border network of independent investment banks—each a strong, active leader in its geographic market. The Alliance was founded in 2008 for the purpose of leveling the playing field versus the world’s largest global investment banks and enhancing the cross-border success of all the member firms and their clients.
Our GAP members introduce each other to sector-specific knowledge, relationships, transactions and capital raising opportunities in their respective domestic markets to help one another build their international presence.
GAP NETWORKING
Monthly Virtual Meetings
The monthly online meetings give members a chance to share ideas and hear what’s going on in other markets, as well as to request or offer help with opportunities and transactions.
Network Chats
In between monthly meetings, members follow up via an encrypted confidential network to discuss and develop ideas and transactions of particular interest to them.
GAP Deal List
The Alliance maintains a list of active deals being pursued within our global network that may be of interest to other GAP members. This proprietary list is distributed exclusively to our members each month.
Annual Conference
Each year, one of our Alliance members hosts an in-person conference in their home market exclusively for GAP members and their guests, where our focus is on learning about the local market. The conference host will typically present key perspectives on their geographic market and its top sectors, as well as introduce a number of local businesses. The members in attendance will have a chance to interact further with each of the businesses in brief one-on-one sessions. The conferences afford a good opportunity for attendees to converse with each other face-to-face and share observations and ideas.
